Flow5 was born from frustration with outdated, clunky software that didn't understand how real workshops operate. We set out to build something better, and we're just getting started.
Our Mission
To empower South African workshops with technology that actually works, helping them save time, serve customers better, and grow their businesses. We believe every workshop, big or small, deserves access to world-class software.
Most workshop software sold here was designed somewhere else, for a trade that works differently. Prices in the wrong currency, parts catalogues that do not carry local stock, and support in a timezone that is asleep when your floor is busy.
Flow5 was built from the workshop floor up. The parts integrations are the suppliers you actually order from. The messaging runs on WhatsApp because that is what your customers read. The tax handling matches what SARS expects.
We are a South African team, and the people who answer the phone are the people who build the product.

2020–2021
The Idea Takes Shape
During the COVID period, years of hands-on workshop experience, proven processes, policies and operational knowledge were brought together into a clear plan for a better workshop management platform.
2022
Development Begins
After extensive planning, development of Flow5 officially began. The original concept started becoming a practical platform designed around the real needs of local workshops.
2023
Building and Testing
A full year was dedicated to development, refinement and testing. Core workshop processes were digitised and brought together into one connected system.
2024
Beta Launch
Flow5 entered its beta phase and was introduced to selected workshops. Real-world use and feedback helped guide further improvements and development.
2025
Smarter and More Connected
Flow5 continued to evolve through major upgrades, improved integrations and the introduction of AI-powered features designed to make workshop operations faster, easier and more accurate.
2026
Public Release
Flow5 became available to workshops across South Africa, giving independent and multi-branch workshops access to a modern platform built specifically for the local automotive industry.
